Hi, I'm Vivian.
I started HealthyLogs during a period when I needed to rethink my own health.
After years of working under stress, I reached a point where I decided to leave my job and give myself time to recover. A combination of stress and personal health concerns made me realize that I needed to take my wellbeing more seriously.
Turning 30 didn't suddenly change everything, but I began to notice that I couldn't take my health for granted in the same way I once had. Sleep, stress, energy and everyday habits started to matter more to me. I wanted to understand my body better, find routines I could actually maintain, and learn how to take care of myself for the long term.
But the more I explored wellness, the more I realized how overwhelming it could be. There was so much advice to follow, so many products to try, and so many different opinions about what women should be doing to feel healthier and age well.
I didn't want another list of perfect habits I couldn't keep up with. I wanted to understand what actually helps, what the evidence says, and how to make healthier choices in ordinary life.
That's how HealthyLogs began.
Why I'm Building HealthyLogs
As I work on rebuilding my own health habits, I want to share what I'm learning with other women going through a similar stage of life.
Women in their 30s and beyond may find themselves balancing work, relationships, family responsibilities and changing priorities, often while trying to figure out what their own bodies need. Knowing that health matters doesn't always mean knowing where to start.
I want HealthyLogs to make that starting point feel a little less overwhelming.
Here, I explore realistic ways to feel better, move better and age well — from everyday movement and sleep to nutrition, stress management and long-term wellbeing.
I'm also interested in bringing different perspectives together. I explore Vietnamese food traditions, Ayurveda and Chinese yangsheng alongside modern scientific research, with an open mind and a commitment to being clear about what is supported by evidence, what is still uncertain, and what belongs to traditional practice.
I'm still learning, testing habits and figuring things out myself. I don't have every answer, and I don't think I need to pretend that I do.
What I can offer is curiosity, careful research, honest reflections and a willingness to share both what I learn and what doesn't work for me.
What I Believe
I believe taking care of your health shouldn't require a perfect lifestyle, an expensive routine or a complete reinvention of yourself.
Sometimes, it starts with a short walk, a more consistent bedtime, learning to question a health claim or simply making time to understand what your body needs.
I also believe women deserve health information that respects their intelligence, acknowledges uncertainty and helps them make informed decisions rather than feel pressured to buy more or do more.
HealthyLogs is my way of turning a personal journey into something that may be useful to others.
I'm building it while continuing to learn about nutrition, healthy aging and the everyday practices that can support our wellbeing over time.
If you're in your 30s or beyond and wondering where to begin, I hope you'll find something here that helps you take your next small step.
Feel better. Move better. Age well.
Not perfectly. Just a little better, in ways that fit your real life.
I'm glad you're here.
Let's figure out what actually helps, one habit at a time.
